Oh yes, join us for a 4-day, 3-night climbing and yoga retreat! Nestled in Owens River Gorge near Bishop, one of the most sought-after climbing destinations in the West, this retreat is all about doing what you love, finding adventure, cultivating community, and strengthening your mind and body. Regardless of your experience, enjoy one-on-one rock climbing sessions and daily yoga practices. And when you’re not at the crag or the mat, savor delectable meals prepared by a chef, and wake up to fresh coffee sourced from a family friend and roaster. The evenings will be filled with fireside chats and feeling the vibrant community, and the nights will be spent in cozy accommodations after enjoying the starry skies!

About Our Destination
Bishop, California is a friendly town nestled in between two majestic mountain ranges, the iconic Sierra Nevada mountains to the West, and the White Mountains to the East. This unique geographic location makes Bishop incredibly special as it sits in a valley surrounded by gorgeous landscapes, giant mountains, and beautiful lakes. Bishop's setting has an irresistible draw to outdoor enthusiasts, artists, and businesses alike. Bishop is world famous for its scenery, climbing, hiking, fishing, hunting, bakeries, and for its mules - many of which can be seen while in nature. The city was named after Bishop Creek, flowing out of the Sierra Nevada.
The Owens River Gorge is a massive collection of some of the finest sport climbing that California has to offer. With over 300 routes ranging from 5.6 to 5.13, this crag has something for everyone. The rock in the Owens River Gorge is a type of volcanic tuff local to the region, which makes for a hard, compressed rock that has settled in a variety of formations. You’ll find everything from pockets to flakes, and even a few chimneys thrown in for good measure. This area is well-bolted, and offers a climbs for a wide range of abilities. The close proximity to town, as well as the potential for year-round climbing, might convince you to give up the climber dirtbag lifestyle and set up permanent residence in Bishop.

Physical Requirements

Ability to hike two miles over varied terrain while carrying a 15 lb backpack

Ability to do 20 squats and 1/2 a pull up
